Being an investment and trade destination coupled with its evolving logistics ecosystem, India has huge potential in the APAC. In an exclusive conversation, when APACE DIGITAL CARGO asked GROUP CONCORDE – why to choose Asia Pacific market, the company firmly replies – the growing demand of air cargo in APAC; access to emerging markets like Vietnam and the strategic advantage – are enough reasons to expand footprints in the APAC market. Here are the excerpts –

The partnership between Group Concorde and Vietnam Airlines for cargo services signals a significant opportunity in the APAC (Asia-Pacific) market. Here are three key points to consider regarding the potential of this collaboration:

  • Growing Demand for Air Cargo in APAC: The Asia-Pacific region has been experiencing robust growth in trade and e-commerce, driving up the demand for air cargo services. With the increasing globalisation of supply chains and the rise of online retail, there is a continuous need for efficient and reliable freight solutions. The partnership between Group Concorde and Vietnam Airlines positions them well to capitalise on this demand, leveraging Vietnam Airlines’ extensive network and Group Concorde’s expertise in the Airline representation domain.
  • Access to Emerging Markets: Vietnam, in particular, has emerged as a key player in the global economy, with its rapid industrialisation and export-oriented manufacturing sector. By partnering with Vietnam Airlines, Group Concorde can support the Indian supply chain market to gain access to Vietnam’s growing market and its connections to other fast-growing economies in the region. This allows them to tap into new opportunities and expand their reach beyond traditional markets.
  • Strategic Advantage in the APAC Region: The partnership strengthens both companies’ positions in the highly competitive APAC cargo market. By combining their resources and capabilities, they can offer a comprehensive range of services for freight forwarding clients thereby serving the growing needs of Indian exporters. This strategic advantage allows them to differentiate themselves from competitors and better meet the diverse needs of customers in the region. Additionally, leveraging Vietnam Airlines’ established infrastructure and Group Concorde’s industry knowledge, they can optimise operations and provide cost-effective solutions, further enhancing their competitiveness in the APAC market.
