The logistics platform AX4 of Siemens Digital Solutions now incorporates BlueBox Systems’ airfreight tracking data, and the company has on boarded a new customer.

Consequently, BlueBox Systems has streamlined procedures by providing over 500,000 AX4 users with quick and simple access to its superior airfreight data from more than 130 airlines.

“Thanks to its integration of BlueBox Systems data, AX4 users can effortlessly combine this with other valuable information. AX4 users thus gain a unique overview and can track their air freight data even better, thanks to the state-of-the-art programming interface of BlueBox Systems. Both applications can communicate independently and exchange data in real-time through the API solution. Everybody involved in the supply chain has access to the latest and most accurate information – like ETA changes or delays. Moreover, this advanced API solution ensures end-to-end data security”.

The shared information is protected, important cargo data are kept safe, and the supply chain’s integrity is upheld since only authorised parties are able to access and use it.

“With Siemens Digital Logistics we won another client that trusts our innovative solutions that put the customer first and who has recognized the added value of BlueBox Systems,” says Martin Schulze, CEO of BlueBox Systems. “We share the same goal: making air freight and logistics supply chains more transparent and efficient.”

Furthermore, Martin Schulze stressed the value of the real-time tracking provided by BlueBox Systems, especially for goods that must arrive on time and at a specific temperature for sectors with stringent regulations like the pharmaceutical industry.

He added, “Air freight remains the fastest and most secure means of transporting valuable and critical goods globally. Customers now have everything in view, ensuring their cargo arrives in optimal condition and on time.”

“By partnering with BlueBox Systems, we’re able to offer AX4 users greater visibility into their air freight supply chain,” said Volker Albrecht, CEO of Siemens Digital Logistics. “This transparency enables our customers to make better-informed decisions, streamline their processes, and save money.”

Digitalizing logistics procedures is Siemens Digital Logistics’ area of expertise. The logistics platform AX4 is used by more than 500,000 users worldwide. For instance, the system provides online or app-based cross-company integration of all supply chain partners in a single interface. Additionally, it has transport management, which makes it possible to respond in real time to any potential problems. Another point of interaction with BlueBox Systems is the real-time data.
