Noatum Logistics, the logistics division of AD Ports Group, has expanded its trucking fleet to more than 850 vehicles, nearly doubling its previous capacity as it strengthens its presence across the Middle East and GCC markets.

The expansion includes the addition of new Euro 6-compliant heavy-duty trucks, delivered over the past six months. The investment is expected to enhance the company’s cross-border transportation capabilities, improve operational efficiency and provide greater flexibility in managing regional cargo movements.

With the increased fleet capacity, Noatum Logistics aims to strengthen its freight forwarding, contract logistics and project cargo operations. The additional vehicles will enable the company to handle a wider range of transportation requirements, including oversized and specialised cargo shipments, through its own road transport network.

The company is also integrating road transportation with its dedicated rail shuttle service connecting Khalifa Port and Fujairah Terminals in the UAE. This combined road-and-rail infrastructure is designed to improve cargo connectivity between industrial hubs, ports and regional distribution centres while offering alternative transportation routes during supply chain disruptions.

In parallel, Noatum Logistics is enhancing its digital capabilities through GPS-enabled fleet tracking and a centralised control tower. These systems provide real-time information on vehicle locations, transit progress, fleet utilisation and operational performance, improving shipment visibility and allowing faster responses to changing logistics requirements.

According to Thurston Pok, Managing Director of Noatum Logistics for the Middle East, Indian Subcontinent and CIS, the investment will strengthen the company’s ability to deliver dependable transportation solutions, improve supply chain efficiency and support its long-term regional and international expansion strategy.

The latest development builds on the company’s April 2025 announcement of acquiring 152 long-haul trucks, which increased its regional fleet from approximately 450 to more than 600 vehicles.

By combining expanded road capacity, rail connectivity and advanced digital monitoring, Noatum Logistics is positioning itself to strengthen its role in regional freight transportation and meet the growing logistics demands of businesses operating across the GCC.
