After Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Cochin, Kannur, Hyderabad, Goa (Mopa) and Ahmedabad, Celebi India has bagged its 9th airport in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Celebi announced yesterday (13th December) its appointment have submitted its acceptance to the airport Director of Chennai at the Airport Authority of India and has begun fulfilling the requirements to commence with the services. Both scheduled and non-scheduled airlines would be provided with complete ground handling support by Celebi at domestic as well as international terminals. The operations would commence in early 2023 with efforts being put by Celebi to start in the 1st quarter of the next year. Celebi is also aiming to deploy industry standard and best in class equipment and recruit required number of manpower in phases at different levels. Celebi would be investing around 8 million dollars in the project.

We will provide the much awaited quality ground handling services at Chennai airport and develop a sustainable ecosystem to meet the larger goal of the aviation industry to become carbon neutral in the very near future” said the CEO of Celebi India, Murali Ramachandran.
