The Air Cargo Agents Association of India (ACAAI) successfully concluded its 50th Annual Convention and Golden Jubilee celebrations, held from 25–28 September 2026 at Taj Cidade de Goa Horizon, Goa. Held under the theme “Made in India, Moved by India – Building the Logistics Ecosystem for a Trillion-Dollar Trade,” the landmark four-day convention brought together leading voices from the air cargo, aviation, logistics and trade sectors to discuss industry priorities, emerging opportunities and the future of India’s logistics landscape.

The convention was inaugurated in the presence of Chief Guest H.E. Shri Pusapati Ashok Gajapathi Raju, Governor of Goa, along with Guests of Honour Shri Shripad Naik, Minister of State for Power and New & Renewable Energy; Shri Mauvin Godinho, Minister for Industries, Trade and Commerce, Transport and other portfolios, Government of Goa; and Shri Bipin Upadhyay, IRS, Commissioner of Customs, Goa. The inauguration marked the beginning of ACAAI’s Golden Jubilee celebrations and commemorated five decades of the association’s contribution to India’s air cargo industry.

A major highlight of the convention was the launch of the ACAAI Golden Jubilee Souvenir, commemorating five decades of the association’s journey, achievements and contribution to the air cargo and logistics sector. The souvenir was launched in the presence of the Chief Guest and Guests of Honour, with Souvenir Chairman Mr. Mahesh Trikha and the ACAAI leadership team marking the significant milestone.

The convention featured a series of business sessions addressing key developments and opportunities shaping India’s air cargo and logistics industry. The discussions included “Air Cargo – The Engine of India’s Trillion-Dollar Growth,” which examined the role of air cargo in supporting India’s expanding trade ambitions. “Digital Skies – Accelerating Logistics via Unified Interface Policy” focused on digitalisation and policy-driven transformation, while “AI & Automation in Freight Forwarding – The Next Gen Freight Agent” explored the growing role of artificial intelligence and automation in freight forwarding.

The business programme also examined the potential of Tier 2 and Tier 3 airports in strengthening regional connectivity and creating new cargo opportunities. The session “Multimodal Integration: Connecting Air, Rail and Road Networks” highlighted the importance of seamless integration between different modes of transportation in building a more connected and efficient logistics network.

Another key area of discussion was supply-chain resilience in the face of an increasingly complex global operating environment. The session “Building Resilient Supply Chains: Risk Mitigation in Global Geopolitics” examined approaches to managing geopolitical risks, strengthening supply-chain resilience and ensuring continuity in global trade and logistics operations.

Across the sessions, industry leaders shared insights on technology, infrastructure, regional connectivity, artificial intelligence, multimodal transportation and supply-chain resilience, highlighting the factors that will shape the next phase of India’s logistics growth.

With participation from industry leaders, policymakers, airlines, airports, freight forwarders, logistics companies and other stakeholders, the 50th ACAAI Convention provided a platform for knowledge exchange, business networking and industry collaboration. The Golden Jubilee celebrations concluded with a renewed focus on strengthening India’s logistics capabilities and supporting the country’s ambitions for greater global trade connectivity.
