The Saudi SAL Company for Logistics Services has signed an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the domestic real estate solutions provider SILA to undertake studies to develop logistical areas in the kingdom and turn them into promising investment opportunities.
Thunayan Al Thunayan, CEO of SAL Logistics Sector, said the agreement aims to support and develop the logistics areas, which are one of the most important sectors and services in the transportation system in the kingdom.
He said the company is also keen to enter into more such agreements with many government agencies and leading international and local companies in order to serve the national goals in the logistics sector.
“The Saudi Vision 2030 envisions that the kingdom becomes a leading global logistics center linking the continents of the world. The agreement is to enhance the role of this vital and important sector in accordance with the goals of this vision strategy,” he said.
SAL provides ground handling services for air freight and logistical solutions in Saudi Arabia.
