Sonoco ThermoSafe has formed a relationship with Swiss WorldCargo. Sonoco ThermoSafe’s unique Pegasus ULD temperature-controlled bulk shipping container will be deployed under a global master lease arrangement inked by the two industry leaders. As of the Winter Timetable 2023/2024, pharmaceutical freight forwarders will be able to use the Pegasus ULD fleet directly through Swiss WorldCargo, further boosting the secure and efficient transportation of customers’ cargo shipments.

The Pegasus ULD from Sonoco ThermoSafe is a modern, FAA and EASA-approved system that enables cost-effective international airfreight handling and customs operations. The container has an FAA-approved telemetry system that provides real-time, cloud-based data on cargo, ambient temperature, and other crucial environmental parameters, all precisely synchronized with GPS location.
