The 23rd edition of the IBS Cargo Forum (ICF) took place from November 19 to 21, 2024, at the Marriott Hotel, Bangalore. The three-day event brought together business and technology leaders to brainstorm and discuss current challenges and future innovations essential for a truly digital future for the air cargo industry. The forum showcased IBS Software’s ongoing investments and upcoming developments to the iCargo platform, designed to empower customers with digital tools for success with their global air cargo business.

The agenda for the ICF covered keynote sessions and discussions, including:

  • Partnerships in Air Cargo and strategies for building successful collaborations
  • Developments in Analytics Tools and how data analytics is transforming air cargo operations
  • Workshops led by industry experts, focusing on practical applications of iCargo tools
  • Discussions on the IATA ONE Record standard and its implications for the future of air cargo as well as how IBS is supporting the ONE Record standard
  • User Community sessions and look ahead at future initiatives.

Today, 36 global airlines and handlers leverage iCargo to effectively manage their air cargo operations, this includes sales, operations, handling, air mail and revenue management, highlighting the platform’s integral role in streamlining and enhancing air cargo processes.

The IBS Cargo Forum, generally held twice a year, has been a cornerstone event since its inception in 2012. The event in Bangalore saw participation from over 200 delegates from customers and IBS Software.
