Delhi Airport, in a landmark initiative with Carico, has implemented an Automated Visitor Management System at its Cargo Premise, setting a new standard in cargo security. The Visitor can now apply for passes online. This system, featuring advanced technologies like FRS and ANPR, is designed to expedite and secure the process of visitor management in this critical area. By reducing the issuance time for various passes and enabling online applications, the system not only enhances security but also positions Delhi Airport at the forefront of technological innovation in the transportation sector.

The event was inaugurated by DIAL CEO V.K Jaipuriar; Sanjeev Edward, CEO – Cargo & Logistics, GMR Group; ED Sudeep Lakhtakia, Head (Security & Vigilance) M Shashi Kanth, Carico Managing Director Parvinder Singh, and other dignitaries. Key teams including DIAL, DCSC, Celebi, and Carico, along with other important dignitaries attended the meeting, which highlighted the successful trial run of the VMS with over 6000 passes issued.
