DTDC Express Ltd., a major express logistics provider in India, has unveiled its new drone delivery services, in collaboration with Skye Air Mobility. This launch coincides with DTDC’s 35th anniversary and represents a significant step towards improving efficiency and sustainability in delivery services.
DTDC, with a vast network of over 16,000 partners, reaches nearly 96% of the Indian population and handles around 155 million parcels each year. By incorporating drone technology, the company aims to speed up deliveries, reduce carbon emissions, and ease traffic congestion.
Abhishek Chakraborty, CEO of DTDC Express Ltd., shared his excitement about this milestone. He explained that this partnership with Skye Air Mobility is a key part of their strategy to lead the way in last-mile delivery solutions. “As we enter our 35th year, this new venture is crucial in setting higher standards for delivery services.
