Emirates SkyCargo is in talks with Airports Authority of India (who handles Goa airport) to operate cargo flights. As per the dailies, the airline has reviewed the current facilities at Dabolim. They have examined the bottlenecks in the infrastructure and are working closely with AAI to atleast start the smooth of cargo services with basic amenities. Currently, about 60 tonnes of pharma products are transported to Mumbai or Bengaluru to move out of India to Europe or US; but this move, will definitely save money and time.
