Etihad Rail Freight, the freight division of Etihad Rail and developer of the UAE National Rail Network, has entered into a Haulage Services Agreement with Trojan General Contracting, a prominent construction company in the UAE. This collaboration is set to elevate the country’s logistics landscape by providing seamless transportation and logistics services for Trojan’s aggregates, strengthening supply chain efficiency and connectivity across the region.
Under the agreement, Etihad Rail Freight will deliver end-to-end logistics solutions, including first- and last-mile services, to move aggregates from Trojan’s quarries in Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) and Fujairah. The cargo will be transported via Etihad Rail Freight’s Al Ghail Dry Port terminal in RAK to key industrial zones, such as the Industrial City of Abu Dhabi (ICAD) and Dubai Industrial City (DIC). Additionally, secure storage options will be offered at these destinations, ensuring smooth and dependable logistics operations.
Gunther J. Ferk, CEO of Etihad Rail Freight, commented: “As we continue to expand our freight operations, our focus remains on enhancing our service offerings through seamless integration with existing logistics providers. This partnership supports our mission to strengthen the UAE’s logistics infrastructure, with sustainability and safety at the core of our operations.“
