A Brazilian multinational that specialises in the integration of cargo, Asia Shipping, celebrates its leadership among freight forwarders in trade between India and Latin America, with 15,000 TEUs moved from January to November 2022, an increase of 30% compared to the same period of the previous year.
The trade flow between the countries reached US$ 7 billion in 2019, with Brazilian exports accounting for $2.76 billion and Indian imports accounting for $4.26 billion. According to Rafael Dantas, the Sales Director at Asia Shipping, India is a growing market that tends to occupy an increasingly relevant position in global foreign trade. India is Brazil’s fifth largest trading partner for Brazilian imports.
