With effect from September 18, Guillaume Halleux joins Swissport as Chief Commercial Officer. He will work closely with Swissport’s regional business executives to keep an open line of communication with customers in order to develop long-term relationships based on trust with our airline clients and guarantee that operational excellence standards are maintained.
Guillaume Halleux will begin working at Swissport International AG as Chief Commercial Officer and a member of the senior leadership team on September 18, 2023, after leaving Qatar Airways. He will carry out Swissport’s commercial strategy, cultivate current and future customer relationships, and spearhead the pursuit of new business.

Guillaume Halleux, who joins Swissport from Qatar Airways Cargo, where he was Chief Officer Cargo at the airline’s Doha headquarters, has more than 25 years of expertise. He was the airline’s Vice President Cargo Asia Pacific before that. He began his career in 1997 with Air France, where he had a number of jobs in business development and logistics until joining the joint venture SkyTeam Cargo US with Air France, Delta Airlines, and Korean Air. Later, at Air France-KLM, he was named Regional Director for Hong Kong and South China. Guillaume, a French national, has a master’s degree in business administration from Nancy, France’s ICN Business School.
