India’s logistics costs, which is presently at 16 per cent of the country’s GDP, will drop down to 9 per cent by the end of the year 2024, aided by the growing infrastructure of the company, said the Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, while addressing the annual convention and 95th general meeting of the industry body FICCI.
The Minister added, that according to a FICCI (Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry) statement, this is going to help the country get more exports and now is the time to increase the business and presence in the international market.
