Allcargo Group, a global logistics conglomerate originating from India, has appointed Ketan Kulkarni as the Deputy Managing Director of Gati Express and Supply Chain Pvt. Limited (GESCPL), a key subsidiary of Allcargo Gati Limited (formerly Gati Limited). Gati is recognized as one of India’s leading Express Distribution and Supply Chain Management companies. This strategic appointment aims to strengthen the company’s expanding business. Ketan Kulkarni steps into this role after serving as the Chief Growth Officer at Allcargo Group, working closely in the Chairman’s office.

Ketan will assume his new responsibilities immediately, collaborating with Pirojshaw (Phil) Sarkari, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of GESCPL. Together, they will facilitate a smooth leadership transition, guiding the company towards further growth in express and contract logistics, with a focus on sales, operations, customer service, and digital initiatives.

Phil Sarkari is set to retire upon reaching the age of superannuation on November 30, 2024. Post-retirement, he will continue to serve as a Non-Executive and Non-Independent Director on the Board of Allcargo Gati Limited.

Ketan brings over three decades of diverse experience to Allcargo Group, with an impressive track record across multiple sectors including logistics, consumer durables, FMCG, and beverages.
