Lufthansa Cargo has announced the appointment of Elodie Berthonneau as Vice President of Asia Pacific, effective October 1. Based in Singapore, Berthonneau will oversee the sales and handling operations across key markets, including China, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, and more.

Berthonneau brings over 25 years of experience in the aviation industry, having held pivotal roles in sales, pricing, profit management, and strategic planning at Qatar Airways and Air France KLM. Her previous work includes spearheading start-ups, restructuring organizations, and forging major strategic partnerships across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

Berthonneau succeeds J. Florian Pfaff in this role. This announcement follows Lufthansa Cargo’s July appointment of Anand Kulkarni as Head of Global Markets, a newly established position focusing on digital and regional sales leadership.
