Airports Authority of India (AAI), as part of Krishi Udan scheme, is focusing on promoting agricultural and farm products to the outside world and under this initiative, the first domestic dedicated freighter has been landed at Lengpui airport in Aizawl. This has been an effort by AAI and its cargo arm AAICLAS (Airports Authority of India Cargo Logistics and Allied Services) and this is completely aimed at benefiting local farmers and villagers whose products have higher values outside.
