Om Logistics, a leading player in supply chain and logistics management, has announced the acquisition of the Inland Container Depot (ICD) Bawal in Haryana for INR 110 crore. Strategically located within the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) and the Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC) industrial estate, ICD Bawal is a state-of-the-art multimodal logistics hub spanning 20 acres, as per the official press release from Om Logistics.
The facility boasts two automated rail lines, a 30,000 sq. ft. custom bonded warehouse, and a monthly capacity to handle 5,000 containers of EXIM (export-import) cargo. ICD Bawal offers robust connectivity to major ports such as Mundra, Pipavav, and Jawaharlal Nehru Port. Its proximity to Indira Gandhi International Airport and other regional airports further enhances its capability for efficient air cargo handling. The depot is conveniently located near NH48 and NH71, ensuring seamless road connectivity to northern and western India. Additionally, ICD Bawal benefits from direct access to the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor (WDFC) and Indian Railways, enabling swift rail cargo movement.
