Today marks the third anniversary of the launch of the PM GatiShakti National Master Plan, a visionary initiative introduced in 2021 to revolutionize multimodal connectivity across India. This groundbreaking master plan integrates 44 Central Ministries and 36 States and Union Territories to coordinate and execute infrastructure projects that fuel economic growth.

Over the past three years, PM GatiShakti has assessed 208 major infrastructure projects, collectively valued at over ₹15 lakh crore. These projects span multiple sectors, with the plan’s overarching goal of reducing logistics costs and improving India’s Logistics Performance Index (LPI) ranking to be among the top 25 countries by 2030. The scheme promotes data-driven decision-making and is exploring the possibility of granting non-government users access to relevant data for better infrastructure and development planning.

Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal highlighted how PM GatiShakti has fundamentally changed the way India envisions and executes infrastructure projects. By integrating data from various Ministries and States, the system has become more efficient, transparent, and results-oriented. The impact of PM GatiShakti is already evident in faster project completion, lower logistics costs, and enhanced services reaching all corners of the nation.
