Pradhaan Air Express has launched its inaugural flight from Mumbai to Tashkent, Uzbekistan, successfully transporting 65 tonnes of vaccines from the Serum Institute of India. This landmark event underscores the increasing importance of India’s pharmaceutical sector, which achieved exports worth $24.4 billion in 2022-23, according to Pharmexcil.

India’s air cargo industry is also witnessing rapid growth, with a 15 percent rise in cargo volume during the same period, as highlighted by a release from Pradhaan Air Express. Nipun Anand, Founder of Pradhaan Air Express, expressed pride in this milestone, underscoring its significance in demonstrating India’s capability in delivering high-quality vaccines.

“The successful shipment of vaccines to Tashkent showcases Serum Institute’s excellence in the industry and solidifies India’s reputation as a reliable supplier of top-quality vaccines,” said Anand. He added that this achievement marks the beginning of a new era for India’s air cargo industry, aiming to position the country as a leading global player while enhancing its pharmaceutical prestige.
