Welspun One has acquired a 22-acre plot along the Bilaspur-Tauru Road in the Gurugram-NH8 corridor for the development of a state-of-the-art logistics park, with an investment of Rs 125 crore. This new project is expected to create job opportunities for approximately 1,200 to 1,500 people, according to the company’s announcement.
The investment aligns with Welspun One’s vision to build advanced logistics and warehousing facilities that cater to the dynamic needs of various industries. This acquisition represents a significant expansion in one of India’s key logistics corridors.
Anshul Singhal, Managing Director of Welspun One, commented, “By capitalizing on this prime location, we aim to develop a cutting-edge logistics hub that will enhance operational efficiencies for our tenants and contribute to India’s broader economic growth.”
The transaction was facilitated by property consultant JLL India.
