Yotuh Energy Private Limited, a pioneering cleantech startup focused on electrifying vehicle refrigeration systems for mid-mile and last-mile cold chain logistics, has successfully secured ₹1.53 crore in funding. The funding round was led by Campus Angels Network .
This funding will bolster their proprietary adaptive control technology, eliminate fuel consumption, cut operational costs, and propel the industry toward more sustainable and efficient practices.
Founded in 2022 by IIT Delhi alumni Vivek Mahindrakar, Shaivee Malik, and Dharmik Bapodara, Yotuh Energy is committed to advancing sustainable technologies in India. The startup has already garnered significant recognition, receiving grants and awards from prestigious institutions, including the Ministry of Agriculture, DST, MeitY, Acumen, ACIR (US Embassy to India), IIT Madras Incubation Cell, and Daimler India Commercial Vehicles.
Dharmik Bapodara, co-founder of Yotuh Energy, emphasized the impact of the funding, stating, “This investment will significantly enhance our product development, testing, and operations. Our goal is to make cold chain logistics more accessible, affordable, and sustainable, paving the way for a future driven by innovation and advanced refrigeration technologies.”
Chandran Krishnan, Managing Director and CEO of Campus Angels Network expressed confidence in the startup’s potential, saying, “We believe Yotuh Energy’s electric refrigeration systems will revolutionize cold chain logistics, driving efficiency, sustainability, and substantial cost savings for the industry.”
Vinod Dasari, former Managing Director of Ashok Leyland and ex-CEO of Royal Enfield, who serves as an advisor to Yotuh Energy, added, “Yotuh Energy’s focus on sustainability and efficiency is exactly what the industry needs. I am excited to see how their solutions will transform the market.
