The 7th ACFI World Conclave 2026 brought together governments and industry leaders to strengthen Indiaโ€™s air cargo and export ecosystem through new MoUs, infrastructure, multimodal connectivity, MSME support and technology-driven logistics.

Partnerships with Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana aim to expand export capacity and connect regional cargo networks with global markets.

In Uttar Pradesh, the partnership focuses on perishable logistics, cold chain, air cargo and multimodal infrastructure, including a potential Centre of Excellence and Jewar Aero Logistics & Perishable Export Hub.

In Andhra Pradesh, the partnership aims to strengthen air cargo infrastructure, logistics and cargo handling, including trans-shipment hubs, SEZs and Air Freight Stations.

Organised by the Air Cargo Forum India (ACFI) in strategic partnership with Logistics Shakti Enterprise, the conclave was held under the theme:
โ€œReimagining Global Trade: India at the forefront of developing Resilient Supply Chains.โ€

Key discussions included โ€œIndia Rising: The New Map of Global Trade,โ€ โ€œIndia โ€“ The Next Air Cargo Superpowerโ€ and โ€œFrom MSME to Global Markets.โ€ These sessions explored Indiaโ€™s evolving trade landscape, emerging cargo corridors and opportunities to connect Indian businesses with international markets.

Samir Kumar Sinha, Secretary, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India, highlighted the importance of stronger government-industry collaboration. He noted that air cargo will play a critical role in pharmaceuticals, electronics, engineering goods and perishables, while initiatives such as Air Cargo Policy 2.0 and the proposed National Air Cargo Community System can support digital integration, end-to-end cargo processing and lower logistics costs.

The conclave launched the Cargo Service Quality (CSQ) Initiative and explored VTOL, drones, AI, smart cargo security and the future of Indian aviation.

Ramesh Mamidala, Vice President, ACFI and Head Cargo, Air India Limited, highlighted technology, new operating models, VTOL and drones as key drivers of Indiaโ€™s next phase of air cargo growth.

Sanjiv Edward, President, ACFI and CEO โ€“ Cargo & Logistics, GMR Group, stressed stronger industry collaboration to improve cargo capacity, service quality, market access and ease of doing business.

The 7th ACFI World Conclave 2026 reinforced Indiaโ€™s path toward stronger cargo networks, wider export access and smarter, more resilient logistics.
