Delta Air Lines is reentering the Indian market on December 22, 2019 with non-stop daily service from New York-JFK to Mumbai International Airport, since its last operations in India in 2015. Utilising B777-200LR capacity, the airlines will focus on pharma, automotive and perishable sectors. Key export products from India are anticipated to be pharmaceuticals, automobile parts, perishables, courier shipments and general cargo. Delta is supported in the market by its partner Sharaf Cargo, which will be the airline’s general sales agent for India.
