SpiceJet has recently its first ever long-haul cargo flight from Delhi to Frankfurt using wide-body aircraft Airbus A340, carried 45 tonnes of cargo. Similarly, last week, it operated long haul cargo flight from Amsterdam to Mumbai using A340 with 13 tonnes of cargo. This is the first Indian carrier who has taken such move, operating cargo services from Europe on a dedicated freighter. And next day, it flew to Khartoum in Sudan with 40 tonnes of cargo. This was also the airline’s first flight to Africa. SpiceJet is making its noticeable mark in the air cargo industry.
