WIZ, a tech-enabled freight forwarding platform for the modern day has strengthened its Global Leadership team elevating Krishnakumar V as Global Chief Operating Officer and Satish Lakkaraju as Global Head of Air Freight and Pharma Vertical.  Previously, Krishnakumar and Satish were Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of WIZ India and Senior Vice President of WIZ.

Krishnakumar will work with WIZ founders Ramkumar Govindarajan & Ramkumar Ramachandran to drive the global expansion of new markets and help in setting up operational expertise in existing & new markets. Satish will be working alongside KK to build & strengthen the organisation’s expertise in Air Products & Life Sciences.

Krishnakumar V joined WIZ freight in January 2022 as CEO for India. He comes with more than two decades of experience in the logistics industry with experience in international freight forwarding, customs brokerage, warehousing, distribution, and project logistics. Popularly known as KK in the industry, he was with Agility for 18 years in various Senior Management positions. When he left Agility he was the Managing Director & CEO of Agility India. He comes with an in-depth understanding of the industry, and its regulations and his knowledge enable him to identify the best options for his customers.

Satish Lakkaraju joined WIZ Freight in January 2022 as Sr. Vice President. He started his professional journey in the industry 27 years ago and has evolved to become an experienced sales & commercial head with a demonstrated history of working in the logistics and supply chain industry. Satish is a thought leader in the pharma and life sciences vertical with knowledge and connections in the Air Freight industry.
