Contecon Guayaquil (CGSA), which is the Ecuadorian business unit of International Container Terminal Services, Inc. (ICTSI) and concessionaire of Puerto Libertador Simón Bolívar, has introduced Port to Door, an automated cross-docking service that allows customers to receive their cargo directly at their doorsteps.

The Port to Door service offered by CGSA eliminates the requirement for customers to visit the terminal to collect their shipment. This service offers a speedy option for delivering cargo on the same day. The cost of the service will depend on the distance between the port and the delivery location, as well as the volume of cargo being transported. Initially, the service will be available to customers in Guayaquil who are located in the perimetral and Durán areas, with plans to expand to other regions in the future. To use the service, customers will need to access CGSA’s website and can track their shipment’s progress in real-time via the CGSAPP mobile app.
