Delhivery has entered into a strategic partnership with Teamglobal Logistics to expand its ocean freight services, focusing on both inbound and outbound logistics. Through this collaboration, Delhivery will extend its Less than Container Load (LCL) service to over 120 countries. In turn, Teamglobal will benefit from Delhivery’s in-land Part Truckload (PTL) shipping solution, covering more than 18,700 pin codes across India, according to a company statement.
Teamglobal, established in 2005, is a leading integrated logistics provider based in India, specializing in LCL shipments. With expertise across sea freight, air freight, project cargo transportation, cargo terminals, and coastal shipping, Teamglobal operates 18 offices in India, Bangladesh, Kenya, and Tanzania.
Navneet Khandelwal, Senior Director of Global Operations at Delhivery, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “We are excited to collaborate with Teamglobal, leaders in LCL shipping, and bring the benefits of this alliance to our enterprise and SME customers across India.”
Sujit Baral, Vice President at Teamglobal, echoed this sentiment, adding, “We look forward to this partnership, driven by our shared commitment to process excellence and technology-driven customer experience.”
The partnership offers a comprehensive solution for Indian businesses, addressing the longstanding challenge of coordinating with multiple service providers for cargo transport to and from global markets. Additionally, Delhivery highlighted that the collaboration would meet the need for a national-level service provider to support ground transport requirements across India.
The joint network, integrating express and freight solutions, will be supported by tech-enabled tracking and in-house regulatory clearance capabilities, providing a growth platform for businesses looking to expand internationally.
This announcement follows Delhivery’s recent approval of 6.15 lakh equity shares as part of its employee stock option plan. Founded in 2011 by Sahil Barua, Mohit Tandon, Bhavesh Manglani, Suraj Saharan, and Kapil Bharati, Delhivery continues to evolve as a leader in transportation, supply chain, and logistics solutions.
