India’s 1st Vande Bharat freight train begins trial run.

India’s first Vande Bharat Freight Train has commenced trial runs, reaching a top speed of 145 kmph. The 16-coach train features refrigerated parcel compartments, four automatic wide sliding doors per coach, CCTV surveillance, LED lighting, an advanced fire detection system, and secure container locking arrangements. The trial phase is expected to continue for approximately one month.
