Softlink Academy Joins Hands with M.V. Mandali’s College to Build Tomorrow’s Logistics Workforce, today

This collaboration brings hands-on logistics ERP training, industry-aligned learning and career opportunities to students

Softlink Academy, the skilling initiative of Softlink Global Limited, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with M.V. Mandali’s Colleges of Commerce and Science to introduce specialized software training for students and strengthen the connection between academic education and the evolving requirements of the logistics and freight forwarding industry.

The collaboration aims to equip students with practical, industry-relevant skills through hands-on training on enterprise software used in logistics operations. The initiative is designed to help students complement their academic learning with technology exposure and develop capabilities relevant to careers across the logistics and supply chain sector.

Bridging the Gap Between Education and Industry

The logistics and freight forwarding industry is undergoing rapid digital transformation, creating increasing demand for professionals who understand both operational processes and the technology that supports them. Through this partnership, Softlink Academy and M.V. Mandali’s Colleges of Commerce and Science aim to provide students with an opportunity to gain practical exposure to logistics software within an academic environment.

Under the MoU, M.V. Mandali’s Colleges of Commerce and Science will be responsible for student enrollment, marketing and conducting the training sessions, appointing qualified trainers, and issuing certificates of completion to students who successfully complete the program.

Softlink Academy will support the initiative through brand visibility across digital and other platforms to facilitate student enrollment, faculty training, curriculum and study material, and licensing of its proprietary software for training purposes. Softlink Academy will also extend placement support to students through its network of commercial licensing partners.

This structured collaboration combines the institution’s academics with Softlink Academy’s logistics technology expertise, creating a learning framework focused on practical exposure and employability.

What Will the Students Gain

Through the program, students will benefit from:

  • Hands-on exposure to logistics ERP software used in real-world freight forwarding operations.
  • Industry-aligned curriculum and study material developed around practical logistics processes and technology.
  • Faculty trained by Softlink Academy, helping ensure consistent delivery of the program.
  • Certification upon successful completion of the training program.
  • Placement support through Softlink Academy’s network of commercial licensing partners, helping students explore career opportunities in the logistics industry.

The initiative forms part of Softlink Academy’s broader effort to build a pipeline of industry-ready professionals by bringing logistics technology and practical learning closer to students.

Redefining Logistics Education Through Technology

The partnership reflects a growing need to align education with the technology-led transformation taking place across logistics and supply chain management. By combining academic learning with practical software training, Softlink Academy and M.V.
