Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA) welcomed the Antonov An-124 ‘Ruslan’, one of the world’s largest production cargo aircraft and a Code F wide-bodied freighter.

Designed to transport heavy and oversized cargo, the An-124 is distinguished by its unique front-loading capability, with its nose opening to facilitate the loading of large consignments. Arriving from Abu Dhabi with approximately 46 tonnes of cargo, the aircraft’s visit demonstrates NMIA’s capability to accommodate large, specialised freighter aircraft and support complex cargo operations.
