LOT Polish Airlines is strengthening its presence in Southeast Asia with the launch of new direct services from Warsaw to Bangkok and Hanoi. Creating additional cargo capacity and enhanced connectivity between Asia and Central Eastern Europe.

The Warsaw–Bangkok service is planned to launch on 7 October 2026, followed by the Warsaw – Hanoi service in 31 March 2027.

The new routes represent an important expansion of LOT Polish Airlines’ Asian network and will provide the air cargo and freight forwarding community with new opportunities to move shipments between Thailand, Vietnam, Poland and destinations across Europe via LOT’s Warsaw hub.

Strengthening the Cargo Bridge Between Southeast Asia and Europe

Thailand and Vietnam are among Southeast Asia’s most dynamic manufacturing, export and logistics markets. The introduction of direct LOT Polish Airlines services will offer additional belly cargo capacity and strengthen access to European markets for exporters, importers and freight forwarders in both countries.

Through LOT Polish Airlines’ hub in Warsaw, cargo originating from Bangkok and Hanoi will benefit from onward connectivity across LOT’s European network, providing customers with additional routing possibilities into Central, Eastern and Western Europe.

The new connections will also strengthen options for Europe-originating cargo destined for Thailand and Vietnam, supporting growing trade flows between the regions.

Michał Grochowski, Head of Cargo at LOT Polish Airlines, said:

“The launch of our new Bangkok and Hanoi connections marks an important step in the continued development of LOT’s presence in Southeast Asia. From a cargo perspective, these routes will open new opportunities for our customers by connecting two important Asian markets directly with Warsaw and our wider European network. Together with Group Concorde, we look forward to developing these markets and delivering reliable, competitive and customer – focused cargo solutions to the freight forwarding community.”
