Hong Kong Air Cargo has commenced dedicated freighter operations from Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA), becoming the first international carrier to operate from Mumbaiโs new airport. The service began on 16 August 2026, marking a historic milestone for Hong Kong Air Cargo, Aeroprime Group and NMIA, while opening a new chapter in Indiaโs international air cargo connectivity.
The launch was enabled by planning, commercial coordination, operational readiness and regulatory efforts led by Aeroprime Group, Hong Kong Air Cargoโs Cargo GSSA in Mumbai, with NMIA and regulatory stakeholders.
