Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation has proposed the development of logistics hubs in six corridors comprising Nagpur-Wardha, Jalna-Aurangabad, Chakan-Talegaon-Hinjewadi-Ranjangaon, Khalapur-Taloja, Shahpur and Tarapur over the next two years. The government expects an investment of over Rs 20,000 crore in the proposed logistic hub. The first of such hub will come up at Chakan within a year. Apart from Indian companies, investors from China, Singapore and Indonesia have already evinced interest to invest in the upcoming logistics hubs.
